Brian Bender

It was a great privilege to have worked with Sir Brian at Defra. He was engaging whilst incisive and he entrusted me with the responsibility of managing senior appointments, a subject he held dear under his Chairmanship. On his leaving Defra he was proud to tell me that we had made a great impact and I will always be grateful to him for sharing the challenge with me.
